Piramal University

U+A was invited to participate in a competition to propose a Masterplan and the Architecture of a new University Campus in Jaipur, India. Piramal Group’s ambitious development was to become India’s latest state-of-the-art Teacher’s College.

Set within vast landscaped grounds dedicated to sports and recreational activities, the campus Masterplan’s concept is derived from Jaipur’s historic grid, which is based on the principles of Vastu Shastra. The grid then informs each building block’s organizational planning and massing.
