U+A Design team came up with an ultimately innovative yet cost effective design solution for these residential towers targeting average income families who are looking for a good quality life Style yet affordable. The proposed design focuses on repetition and standardization. All buildings shall be designed in consideration of separating apartments that may be accommodated by families i.e. two and three bedroom units and apartments that may be utilized by bachelor residents i.e. studios and one bedroom units.Typical floor plates should be comprised of either one and not to have a clash of lifestyle. On ground floor level, residential buildings have been clustered into two rows, east buildings and west.East residential buildings are incorporated with retail units providing with a shopping boulevard along the stretch of the main road . Below the podium level (on the ground level) the space between the east buildings and west buildings shall be utilized for car parking and services.The central garden shall be situated on the podium level.The East Buildings shall be comprised of two heights G+8 and G+16. While the West Buildings height shall be between G+7 and G+6.Residential buildings shall have direct access to street drop offs with close proximity of building entrances. Service areas of buildings shall be visible and accessible. East residential buildings are comprised of two typical building types that are identical and repeated throughout the master plan. Type E1 is a B+G+8 while Type E2 is B+G+16. West residential buildings are comprised of two typical building types that are identical and repeated throughout the master plan. Both types are B+G+7. Each type is comprised of three wings, a middle wing and two mirrored identical corner wings. The identical corner wings are identical for both types of buildings. The main difference occurs within the middle wing where Type W1 has a wider middle wing than Type W2. West Residential buildings are situated parallel to the side edge providing a wind and shading shelter for the whole site. It also creates a dialog between the east residential buildings and west residential buildings.
