U+A is highly commended twice at MEA Awards 2017

U+A scooped up a number of award nominations at the region’s biggest industry awards ceremony, Middle East Architect Awards. Shortlisted four times across 13 categories that recognised great architectural work and individuals, U+A was acknowledged for Community & Cultural Project of the Year for DFWAC, Leisure & Hospitality Project of the Year for Floating Homes, Public Sector & Education Project of the Year for The Headquarters, as well as Large Architecture firm of the Year.
Being shortlisted in a range of categories, chosen from more than 400 nominations sent in from across the region, highlighted U+A’s successful approach, philosophy and vision that it applies across the board.
U+A’s Floating Homes – a highly anticipated project in the UAE – was highly commended in the Leisure & Hospitality Project of the Year category. Judges felt that it was a great addition to the UAE’s hospitality sector. The firm also received highly commended for Large Architecture Firm of the Year.
